the tortoise cycle

Ever heard the tortoise and the hare story....that seems to be the path of this cycle, which is fine b/c the last three hare cycles surely haven't won anything in the end!

I'm even tired of hearing these non-updates myself, but here we go in case you have a morbid curiosity going or if you are really that bored at work or at home (myself, I'm only posting to avoid laundry actually.)

About the same number of tiny follicles. All under 10, but at least they are small together still. (Wanting to ripe my clothes off b/c of hot flash.es last night happened less, and even the small tiny thought of ripping Mr.ebc's clothes off started to enter my head for the first time in a few weeks, so I could have told you that my e2 level was a little higher at least). Thus, lining was found to be thicker and e2 is a bit higher than Friday so at least I seem to be coming out from the suppression finally. Slowely, as today is already stim day 7, but as we learned today (don't you love how you learn what you should expect only after you've freaked out...can't they tell us some of this going in?), anyways, as we learned today, this new protocol is expected to take longer to get up to speed you could say--as in, the traditional agonist/antagonist protocols usually call for 10-14 days of stimming (though I usually triggered on day 9 b/c of god.zilla follicle cyst), but this weird, new invention-of-my-RE protocol pushes stimming an extra 3-5 days b/c of when suppression started in my cycle last month (I think I just heard the pharmacy's cash register rejoice....yes, pharmacist, we'd love to help make your house/boat/car payment this month).

Anyways, all that to say, we aren't cancelled yet b/c at least we showed a little progress today, and slow progress is ok b/c it's expected (by them...and now by us) and having no dominate follicle yet is a good start as my stimming ramps up. Return is Wed. Between now and then, I plan to return to my ignorance state, as that is happier place than being back on this numbers stressing side.
