Four years of infertility, Five attempts at IVF, Three lost heartbeats, Half a uterus, Thirty-eight week high risk pregnancy...One amazing little guy with a Million adventures ahead of us!

You don't want all our money??
So, today is a very good day. I woke up to a phone call from the IVF clinic financial person. After years and 4 IVF's with absolutely no coverage, not even for drugs, we found out that our great insurance coverage is actually acting even better than we thought. It makes no sense, but at the end of the day, we are so very grateful for any coverage and beyond excited about how the insurance is actually paying the majority of the IVF claims. After ringing up about 100K in fertility treatments over the last 2 years or so with nothing but a few u/s pics to show for it, we will only have to pay 4K this time. That in itself is a welcome, unexpected miracle and such a relief to us beyond what can even be described. Sometimes it becomes just a little more clear why you are where you are-in a new city, working a new job we never expected or planned to be. And those moments of clarity during such an otherwise foggy and often disheartening time are so very sweet and appreciated.

That sounds great and will help a lot. I'm amazed at the financial difference countries are dealing with these things.
